How to Make your Tea Taste Like Apple Pie

How to Make your Tea Taste Like Apple Pie

The idea of drinking something that tastes like a pastry seems a little, well, odd. Do I really want to drink my apple pie; wouldn’t it be better to just eat it? Some days that answer might be yes, but for the days it’s not…might as well enjoy it in a cup that will soothe and warm your soul. After all, there is nothing quite like warm apple pie and one sip of this will have you feeling like you just stepped into a bakery.

I stumbled upon this recipe in my attempts to save an apple from being laid to waste without ever being used. It was a little over-ripe, but not yet brown. I had already made my basic ginger green tea, and figured I would throw the apple slices in to see how it would turn out. Turns out I hit the jackpot with this one!!! This has been my morning routine for the past 2 weeks now and I look forward to it as soon as I get out of bed!

I hope this brings you as much joy as it has for me…so sit back relax and enjoy your cup o’ pie!

  • 32 oz Boiled Water

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients, including the tea bag to your favorite cup (I use a Weck Jar or Mason Jar, but a big mug would work too!)
