I was never a big hummus fan – I’m not into turmeric, cumin or a good deal of Mediterranean flavors. So, it’s always been a challenge for me to find one that I could really get into. Then I stumbled upon some recipes that led me in the right direction, but still just weren’t quite what I was looking for. One day, I forgot one of the main ingredients you find in most recipes: Tahini…and I LOVED IT. I had no idea that was the main thing I was having a problem with!!
Ever since this revelation, I have been playing with different flavor combinations and this is definitely my favorite! I love the flavors of sundried tomatoes and rosemary and think that they work SO well with any cracker, chip or veggie!! I also found that using the Vitamix with the Dry Container was hands down, the best and easiest way to make this without having to scrape the sides constantly (if you know, you know). I don’t have every other blender type to compare it to, but it’s definitely better than the standard Vitamix container and a typical food processor!!
So check out the recipe below; give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below!! I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does!! I have to make this multiple times a week because it goes so fast!!!
